AMPLEFORTH SCHOOL POOL 1800-2000HRS

Event Report;

Thanks to all who were able to support the session last evening.  Another great opportunity to meet with new and existing club members. 

It appears to have been a real success with a good attendance and plenty of products on offer.

All of the attendee's took the chance to have a swim in a wetsuit, use the googles and fins etc. which resulted in the purcahsing of new kit.  Phil from AQS seemed to be answering questions relating to design and costings which was a help to novice's and seasoned triathlete's alike.

I'm really pleased that we can offer this facility to the club and the arrangment with this pool is healthy and promising for future events.  Don't forget that we will have the range of AQS equipment available throughout and if anyone wants to make a purchase, either after last night or otherwise, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

I will be emailing everyone who has a bill to pay in the near future, but for now you can relax and look forward to some swim PB's as a result of the new kit!!

To follow on from the lake session last September, I've arranged an evening pool session that will enable club members to try on and wet test the range of Aquasphere wetsuits and goggles.

Aquasphere (AQS) now supply the IronMan brand suits aswell as their own well established models. This will be an ideal opportunity to swim in a suit before buying at a substantially reduced rate which is exclusive to NYP members. The pool is warm and safe so you can concentrate on the feel of the suit and not the cold or weed!!

Phil from AQS will also have some of last seasons suits that will be on offer at bargain prices. The session will include a social gathering for a tea or coffee and if wanted there is an excellent pub in the village of Ampleforth - so let's make a night of it.
